Jeremey “Jay” Bullerman – As President of FRA, Jay has over 30 years of portfolio management and retirement income planning experience. A University of Iowa graduate with degrees in Finance and Economics, Jay spent five years as a financial analyst and investment advisor in Kansas City before returning in 1997 to his hometown of Waterloo to join FRA. Since that time he has guided FRA’s growth serving as president upon the retirement of FRA’s founder, his father, Ivan.
Jay has a professional passion for teaching people to have a healthy relationship with their money that gives them comfort, purpose, and confidence… matching dollars to objectives and dreams. By “demystifying” the portfolio management and retirement income processes he empowers people to pursue their financial goals. Jay’s client engagement process is built around discovering opportunities, solving problems and creating strategies while developing trusting relationships.
Outside of the office, Jay’s life involves lots of family activities with his wife Andrea and their children, church, traveling, fishing and having fun. He’s a member and former elder of Orchard Hill Church. He’s the past chairman of the board of the Community Foundation of NE Iowa and currently serves on their investment committee. Jay is also a member of the professional advisory committee of the Waterloo Schools Foundation.
