Waterloo, Iowa — Mike Hulme of Financial Resource Advisors (FRA) of Waterloo recently participated as a delegate to the National Association of Plan Advisors’ (NAPA) Annual DC Fly-In Forum, an exclusive gathering of the nation’s leading retirement plan advisors.
Delegates to the NAPA DC Fly-In Forum converged on Washington DC to listen to and brief top congressional leaders about the impact and importance of the nation’s workplace retirement plans, and, as advocates for the employers and participants they work with, share how proposed laws and regulations might impact American workers’ retirement security. Hulme was one of approximately 250 elite delegates selected to participate in the 10th annual NAPA DC Fly-In Forum, held July 26-27, 2022.
Hulme said, “Staying abreast of legislative issues and connecting with the process benefits all our clients’ financial well-being. One way this is done is by engaging with legislators, government officials, and thought leaders as they vote on legislation and shape regulations and policy affecting the retirement plan industry and retirement outcomes for Americans.”
Hulme’s visit included meetings with staff from offices of Iowa Senators Grassley and Ernst, including time with Senator Ernst.
FRA has served clients since 1978. Their mission is to provide the best independent, professional asset management and financial advice to individuals and businesses. Hulme is Investment Advisor Representative and Managing Partner of FRA.
